ICMP-TYPE 8 ICMP-CODE 0 ---- ECHO REQUEST (ping request) I assume you use the rule that contains both: ECHO REPLAY and ECHO REQUEST entries? Also, I would concentrate on IKE setup troubleshooting between your servers. One of our servers cannot ping a server in our remote location. Another server in the same subnet can. When we look in the firewall manager, get an error on the management gui that tells us the following: ICMP-TYPE 8 ICMP-CODE 0 error cannot calculate IKE ranges Can anyone shed any light on this??
