Be aware that VRRP does not look for failure in the Firewall software. It only looks for hardware/network failure. I tested Stonebeat (SB) on Solaris and i'm very please. Now i must test vrrp on nokia. Questions are : * on SB, there is a link between the 2 modules (heartbit). Is it the same on Nokia ? * on SB, there a file of check (/stoneabeat/etc/checklist i think) to determined when the primary module must switch (or alert the manager)on the secondary (by scenarios). How it's possible to do it with Nokia VRRP ? Please help, David ___________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? -- Une adresse @yahoo.fr gratuite et en français ! Yahoo!
