Are you running log exports? My console is always busy in the morning but I have 500meg log files that are being exported to text in the $FWDIR/log/export directory. My firewall is running on a Sun Netra, solaris 7, 256 MB of RAM, and 512 MB of Swap, and my fw process, goes from 0.2% CPU usage to 102% CPU usage, and I have no idea why this is happening, and it constantly fluctates between these two marks. Has anyone got any ideas on what could be causing this, and how to stop it?
