Check the searchable archive for this mailinglist but if I remember correctly - on NT this can be caused if you have too many old policies in the ~\FW\conf directory. You can delete old policies via the GUI but the corresponding .W and .pf files have to be removed manually from the directory. I tend to err on the side of caution by keeping the last few policies as well as the current one. Also we move the old .W and .pf files to a subdirectory rather than deleting immediately. After a while the GUI shows a pop-up with "No reply from server". It then continues to save the rulebase, which is succesful.. When I close the GUI, it says "Incorrect reply from server (seq or subject mismatch)" What is the problem?? The rulebase is correctly saved and new rules are applied.. Hope someone has a clue..
