I'm trying to upgrade to the latest service pack (ver. 4.1 sp3). The s/w is downloaded from check point's web site. (http://www.checkpoint.com/cgi-bin/download.cgi) I attached the output of pkgadd -d ./ below. Have anyone seen this kind of errors? I tried to run it on 2 computers - ultra-2 and sparc station 10 and get the same errors. As you can see, I'm running it as a root, there's a lot of space on /opt slice. For some reason, it can create some directories under /opt/CPfw1-41/, but not the others (/opt/CPfw1-41/boot/ in the example below). Does anyone have any documentation on installing/upgrading to ver. 4.1 sp3? I found a file in the public area of Check Point's knowledge base, but this file is for some ridiculous reason is password-protected and after a number of e-mails to Check point I still can't get access to it. This is outrages. Note - the same file is missing in the Certified Professionals section of the same knowledge base.
