RE: [FW1] FW: InterScan eManager Content Management Notification! (Dirty Wo rds)

I'm the other list member Dan's referring to, and the last time I responded
to one of Dan's posts I got the Interscan notification. I accused Dan of
sending it (sorry Dan), which is obviously not the case.

The point is, someone on the list has eManager checking incoming mail and
unfortunately they accepted all of the defaults when they installed the
product. Default eManager content scanning rules are notorious for false
alarms, especially the "dirty words" and "racial discrimination" rules, so
please, if you are using Interscan in your organization check your eManager
settings. At the very least, change eManager's silly "postmaster" reply
address to a real email address so we know where this stuff is coming from.
Better yet, turn off the "notify sender" option for this rule. You're
letting the message through anyway (notice the action is set to "Archive",
not "Block"), so why create useless traffic that serves no purpose?

Thanks,

Geoff Moon

I'm getting the error message below every time I post to the list. Is
anyone else getting this? I think you can all vouch for the fact that my
posts are devoid of "dirty words"

P.S. I know I'm not running InterScan anywhere, and I heard from at least
one other list member who saw the same issue.
