Hello, all. I have a question about routing with a Nokia IP 650. I'm building a mock-up of a network but want to configure one of the 12 ethernet ports so I can access it from our current internal network. I'm suspecting that the route back to myself is not configured properly. CheckPoint is not running yet so it should not be blocking anything. My local LAN is 10.1.0.0/23 (local WS is 10.1.1.70, Solaris 8) The remote LAN is 10.1.4.0/23 (Nokia port is 10.1.4.100, IPSO 3.2.1) The machine doing the routing between the subnets is a Sun (Solaris 7) with a qfe card (10.1.1.1 and 10.1.4.1). I use 10.1.4.2 to show connectivity to the network exists. >From my local WS: cmarnold@impunity: /home/cmarnold +> ping 10.1.4.2 10.1.4.2 is alive cmarnold@impunity: /home/cmarnold +> ping 10.1.4.100 no answer from 10.1.4.100 cmarnold@impunity: /home/cmarnold +> telnet 10.1.1.1 Trying 10.1.1.1... All of the routing tables _look_ correct. Thanks for any and all suggestions.
