You can increase the number of connections or you can try clearing the fwx_alloc table using the following command "fw tab -x fwx_alloc". I am currently having similar (connections are not being timed out of the connection table) issues with hide NAT that I am working with Checkpoint on. Chris C. Your fw-1 kernel may be running out of memory, if you have a large amount of failed allocations this may be the cause.
