can you do it in voyager or are you stuck with the console, if so try using lynx from the console and do it through the gui it seems to work best from there ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott M. I'm trying to change the IP address of an interface and there seems to be some gremlins. I am using the following syntax: ifconfig eth-s2p0c0 192.168.1.1 up netmask 255.255.255.224 The IP seems change fine except for when I plug the interface back in. Is there a command switch that will force the new IP address? Thanks in advance. -Scott ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
