We had the same thing, it was related to the WINS resolution on the
workstation what node type are you using?

I changed the node type to P (peer to peer) and the number of time WINS
broadcasts and waits for timeouts which improved things a lot!

All,

I am having issues with VPN speed through our IP350's they are running VRRP
and are NGAI with tunnels connected to IP30's. Our transfer speeds through
the tunnel are decent but our NT/2000 workstations are slow browsing and
authenticating....   I have looked at DNS settings and cannot figure out
why
this is happening

Any ideas would be helpful
