Re: [FW-1] FW-1 on IBM AIX

There is an NG AI version for AIX, which is the latest and greatest.

It does seem, however, that AIX is not a "core" platform, hence hotfixes may
lag behind other platforms.

Of course. 4.1 sales pretty much ceased in January; 4.1 engineering support
ceased on the 30th of June. There is still support, but no more code fixes.

I would bring the mgmt station to AI, then bring the AIX box to AI and see
how it goes. If, after a while, you find crucial hotfixes to be unavailable
or AIX FW-1 to be unsupportable, you can still switch.
However, the availability of NG AI on AIX means there is demand for this
product, so I'd be inclined to be optimistic.
