Re: [FW-1] FW-1 on IBM AIX
Hi,
I'm using FW-1 on RS6000 box (B50, B80, F50) with AIX 4.3.3
All work. Good with CVP, LDAP and VPN but only a big upgrade trouble!
Informations from ChekPoint about NG development on AIX are ambiguos and
I don't know about a "secure" NG version to upgrade. I only know about
an FP1 version of NG.
Also, at now, all 4.1 products are missed in CheckPoint distributor
price list.
The new CheckPoint installation in my network are now in NG version (non
on AIX boxes) and so, from my enterprise console (4.1) I can't manage
the new ones CP but I can't upgrade my console 4.1 on AIX to NG.
At this time I'll think about an architecture change ... what about my
opinion?
