Hello, it is not quite clear to me if you are talking about the sender-address or the recipient. a) recipient in fw41 you can change the account to which the eMails are sent at Policy -> Properties -> Log and Alert. In rev NG you can change it at Policy -> Global Properties -> Log and Alert (+). If the command in these option only says something like "/usr/bin/mailx -s 'Alert' postmaster" then you "problem" is the underlying MTA (with Unix i.e. sendmail)of your OS. If you are usnig sendmail you should try the aliases. b) sender in Solaris and Linux the FQDN from the /etc/hosts ist used as the sender-address. Simply change it from fw.foo.com to foo.com. However this might not be possible in every case. You can also use the installed MTA to change it. In sendmail it is in the genericstable. --Joerg http://www.firewalls-illustriert.de -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Marc TURPIN [mailto:[email protected]] Gesendet: Freitag, 14.
