Re: [FW-1] Clustering

clusterXL is pretty new, I am testing it right now, and I find some weirdness
but maybe thats because of my particular setup that would probably not be suitable for
a mission critical central site

I recommend you test stonebeat and NG clusterXL

If clusterXL works as it theorically should, it is the best choice
Stonebeat 3.0 as 8 hotfixes and 2 service packs since the initial release
it is older and probably more reliable but Im not sure

You should consider rainfinity too

	Hi All,

I am looking to cluster my firewall setup.. I currently have 10.. going upto 20 NG boxes. I am running 1 on 2000 and the remainder on Linux... the 2000 box is at my central site.. the rest spoke off it due to a critical application at the central site.

I want to make firewall to be as solid as possible at my main site. I want to cluster... Can anyone give me some advice on the best way to achive this? I have read a bit about Stonebeat and ClusterXL... any advice out there on what I should be doing at my main site to add resillience?

I understand I am only touching the surface but would like some guidance on where to should be focussing.

	BR
