it does work I use it fine, you need to setup proxy arp for the address in the pool. The way I did it in FP2 is to define a network(as it doesn't let you use a range) which is a subnet of the main subnet i.e. I moved the subnet mask to the right. I thien added a proxy ARP entry for each address using the MAC of the interface on which the larger subnet was. I am on IPSO 3.5 FCS6 and FP2 and this works well with secureclients. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Fire Waller" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, August 20, 2002 1:15 PM Subject: [FW-1] VPN SecuRemote FP2 IP Pool NAT on the same subnet > Hi all, > > Check Point has mentioned that IP Pool NAT does not > work if the IP pool is on the same subnet as the > firewall interface connected to that subnet. > > Are there any workarounds to resolve this issue? > > Thanks in advance. > > Cheerios > Vic > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > HotJobs - Search Thousands of New Jobs > http://www.hotjobs.com > > ================================================= > To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, > send an email to [email protected] > in the BODY of the email add: > set fw-1-mailinglist nomail > ================================================= > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, > please see the instructions at > http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html > ================================================= > If you have any questions on how to change your > subscription options, email > [email protected] > ================================================= > ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
