Hello,
Did you also upgrade the GUI client? I had a similar problem when using an outdated GUI against an FP1 firewall. An upgrade of the GUI software fixed the problem.

After Migrating our Firewall (Solaris) from 4.1 to NG-FP2:
The GUI-client (Windows and Solaris) crashes immediately after loading our
Rules and Datebase.
