You can do this by installing the Securemote license on the Firewall external interface. Then have your clients create the site with the external interface ip address. They have a firewall module facing the internet with a public IP and the management station is on the internal on a different machine. For securemote and secure clients can they acess the fw module by us defining a site with the public IP of the fw module ? we followed steps in documents and ensure encryption schemes are correct-DES , and 'exportable' ......,correct encryption domain we eventually connected from the internal lan and downloaded the 'users.C'file , and tried coming in form external again topology download seems ok but nothing happens further has anyone else who has got distributed environment (mngmt internal ip seperate machine , fw module public ip) using Secure remote please advice its 4.1 SP4 Do we need acess for the client to the management or is it supposed to work by just installing SR on a client and making it talk to a FW module from internet(or necessary to get first topology from internal) or need a public IP for mngmt to be acessed by SR? TIA all Cheers _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
