Title: service pack question.

Hi.. Dear all,  I found my ID and password can no longer access checkpoint technical support page, eg view release note and download. I have checkpoint 4.0 installed in Sun box. I need your help to check what is my service pack that I have for the following build no 4094.  What is mean by 4. x stdmed250? Can we upgrade straight away to checkpoint 2000 with this service pack? I heard that we need to install service 3 or 4 for checkpoint 4.0 before upgrade to checkpoint 2000, otherwise bug will be found.  Is that true?

I have another sun box with checkpoint 2000 installed.  When I took a look on the license, it shows the certification keys for Motif and management station, why I can't see tge certification keys info for my checkpoint 4.0 (see above).  Can I use other account to download the service pack and install on my Firewall. Will it works?

I will get Sim to plan how best to upgrade and reconfigure both Tokyo Firewall to support Market Data System.  However, can you find out Tokyo the following information on your Firewall-1 licenses?

1.      When and who did we bought it from?
2.      Did we subscribe for Software maintenance from the vendor?
3.      The serial # for both Firewalls? I will get Sim to check whether this is available for the Servers?
4.      The cost for upgrading the Fiewall-1 license to the latest version?

Good morning Robert,

Over the weekend we successfully re-routed the internet traffic from Tokyo to Singapore.  I have switched off the Tokyo Internet router so we no longer have an outside connection ot the intenet.  I will leave this in place for 2 weeks before I cancel the contract with the supplier ( IIJ ).

Once two weeks has passed can we schedule a time for An to reconfig the Tokyo firewall as a backup machine for the MDS firewall, and upgrade both firewalls to the latest software, thereby satisfying the last 2 outstanding audit points.
