Ok well to answer your question, Yes i have licensed many ckcp firewalls to the internal interface. infact i setup a Nokia 440 in a test bed where we have 3 interfaces, in the test bed we were only using one for external and one for internal traffic. the third interface was ip'ed but left disabled and that interface is where we licensed the fw too. It seemed to work fine for several months. never noticed a problem, although we didnt have a very complex rule base either, there were less than 20 users behind it. Hope this helps out more than the script, (which btw was intended not for you to understand but another person that post on here as well) sorry for the confusion Shane ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, January 09, 2002 6:50 PM Subject: Re: [FW-1] license internal or external interface ? > > #!/bin/sh > > while: > > do > > LMAO > > clear > > sleep 1 > > done > > . > > wq! > Thank you for taking the time to write a helpful and constructive message > to this list.
