Checkpoint will have emailed the installation instructions to you. Typically, you run the command fw putlic Whenever Checkpoint send me a license they detail exactly what to put after fw putlic (usually a very long string concicting of license expiration, features, and certificate key). The easiest way to install it is to telnet to the firewall and copy and paste the entire command from checkpoint's email (or if it's the first installation, perhaps your reseller would have sent you a hard copy of the license string). However, I have had some problems copying and pasting license strings using windows telnet application and would recommend using either "Putty" or "Tera Term" (both freeware). E.G.
