Hi.. Andre and dear all,, Although you said I can install fw1 SP with strong encryption (3DES), but I found I cannot download the SP(3DES), when I click it prompt me another license agreement, after i click yes... it prompt me the user ID and password again, I type in the support ID and password that checkpoint gave me.. it denied me..the following msg shown $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Our apologies... Do I need to care about this? 3)I saw the release note, the install method is to use patchadd CPFWSP410004-01 and CPGUISP410004-01 in the 2 directory CPFWSP410004-01 CPGUISP410004-01 but I saw there is a installpatch script file in these folder, can I just type ./installpatch for installation? 4)Do we need to fwstop FW during the installation? The document say we need to ammend $FWDIR/conf/sync.conf file if we are cluster member, but mine standalone.. so do u need to change this file? The FireWall-1 SPs are containers, that means that each SP contains the information of the previous SPs, therefore it is not necessary to install the SPs in order of their appearance. Can I straight away install SP4 without installing SP3?
