Hi Raymond,


You can only use hubs for operative and control interfaces for the firewall HA in SP2 and below. Then came SP3, whereby switches are supported in HA environment, but was in a beta version. SP4 fully support switches in HA environment.

I was reading the release note about CP 4.1 SP4. On page 3, it states that "Check Point High Availability now supports switched environment". Exactly, what does this mean? Are they taking about spanning tree protocol or something else?
