What is the safest way to add permanent static routes to host on Solaris 7
fw-1 v 4.1? I need these for multiple routes to other nets and also for NAT
of valid external ip to invalid internal hosts.

Thanks,

I created a file in /etc/rc2.d called S99joe. It looks sort of like this:

/usr/sbin/route add -net 10.10.1 10.10.10.10
/usr/sbin/route add 10.10.2.1 10.10.3.1

I ran the route commands to first set the routes and they get reset on every reboot by the script.
