[FW1] NT w/ FW-1 4.1 - lsass.exe service fails to load??

We've got an NT 4 SP 6a server running FW-1 4.1 SP 2.  On a couple of occasions now we've tried to log in via the checkpoint GUI client and via the console, and we can't log in.  The error we get on the screen is "lsass.exe service failed to load" or words to that effect.  MS Technet says (naturally enough) this service is required for authentication.  We've got a number of other NT Checkpoint installs (same config) and haven't seen this problem until now.

So, while this sounds like something in the NT config itself, I'm wondering if anyone's ever seen this in conjunction with FW-1 before, and what the fix is (other than reboot when we get this).
