[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] RE: [FW1] Problem installing sp3 of Firewall one on Solaris 2.7
This part of the phoneboy article is appropriate: Another person suggested removing $FWDIR/conf/product.conf and re-running fwconfig or cpconfig. This works fine in 4.0, but not with 4.1. Instead, run 'cpconfig -install'. You should also check to see /etc/fwboot/if.dev has the correct interface types listed there. This can happen when re-running fwconfig or cpconfig. This problem is not limited to sp3. The install of any patch can cause the issues, it seems to be random. ******************************************************************* Michael Carey [email protected] Internet Security Systems www.iss.net 3000 Town Center Suite 1100 Southfield, MI 48075 Managed Firewall Services Engineer******************************************************************* -----Original Message----- From: Garon, Denis [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, February 27, 2001 11:00 AM To: '[email protected]' Cc: '[email protected]' Subject: [FW1] Problem installing sp3 of Firewall one on Solaris 2.7 Hi, I've installed SP3 of Firewall one 4.1 over sp2. On phoneboy site, we have information on that error : http://www.phoneboy.com/fw1/faq/0374.html But, its not say if its the because of installing sp3. Someone have this problem?
