[FW1] "Log Server went down..." Logging to Master

I am having problems with logs being pushed to my
management server. I have 4 nokias FM, 2 NT servers
FM and 1 NT management server. The logs get pushed to
the management server, but sometimes it gives me a
"log sever x.x.x.x went down" error and stops logging.
Only until I stop and restart the management server,
that it starts working again. Some of our offices run
on 128K lines and I suspect that it may be a bandwidth
issue. Ive done test pings to the firewalls during
these instances and I get a timeout. Over time, I can
get a response again to a ping, but the logs do not
resume. Is there a retry period that I can set on the
FMs? I have tried using the loggers file to the
management server with no luck. I need all the logs to
push to one location so I can do reporting. The
management server is NATed behind a firewall. It is
running 4.1 SP3

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

David MCP, CCSA
