Try creating/adding a rule which includes DNS services (UDP and TCP) and then under Policies, Properties untick the two DNS settings.

I have two 4.0 boxes (solaris) doing Manual IPSec VPN between offices....
MOST everything seems to work....http, telnet, Windows browsing, etc....
BUT I can't do DNS!! I can't xfer zones...heck, I can't even NSLOOKUP
across the VPN!!
I 'snoop' the internal interface(s) and I _DO_ see the DNS packets hitting
the FW, but NOTHING is logged...and nothing comes out the other side!
Am I missing something?
