Just out of curiosity, were those machines tuned at all? The 25k limit on NT matches the default concurrent connections in FW1.

These numbers are a little off. The numbers we were able to produce with SmartBits product was 25,000 concurrent connections for NT, 35,000 concurrent for Solaris UE2, and 80,000 concurrent for the Nokia IP650. These are actual numbers as tested. Your mileage may vary.
