Betreff: [FW-1] adding routes with secureplatform ai

Hi all,

I seem to be having problems adding routes with SecurePlatform AI. I
have a couple VPNs that use a Windows 2000 Server PPTP router.

Suppose the SecurePlatform box is 192.168.10.1 (MASK 255.255.255.0), the
Windows 2000 Server is 192.168.10.2 and it has a VPN to 192.168.1.0 MASK
255.255.255.0.

If I add, on the SecurePlatform box, for instance (either manually or
through the SPLAT GUI):

192.168.1.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.2

Other machines on 192.168.10.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 can't connect to
192.168.1.0. However, if I add static routes on these other machines
(bypassing the SecurePlatform routes), the routing works.

If I throw in a Cisco router at 192.168.10.3, and add the same
192.168.1.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.2 route to this router, then
route 192.168.1.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.3 on the SecurePlatform
box, it works?

No errors appear in the logs.

I would rather not throw in an extra router or add manual routes on
every machine.

thanks
Chris
