I was under the impression that the FW-1 kernel code in Linux was a loadable module and not built into a static, monolithic kernel (why does Checkpoint always specify which vendor and kernel revision is required if they supply their own?). If it is loaded as a module, the GLP does not infect the license for the code. There is no way Checkpoint is giving out its FW-1 code under the GLP. -- Crist J.
