Hi all, I just activated SmartDefense and started to test HTTP protocol inspection. I activated the "Perform strict protocol enforcement" option and the firewall started dropping all incoming http traffic to my public web servers. Then I deactivated this option and activated "Perform optimized protocol enforcement", things are running stable after that, but I was just wondering why this happened. I checked out this Knowledgebase article, on which CheckPoint recommends activating the Strict protocol enforcement option.
