Hi all,
I have recently carried out an upgrade of a FW-1 v4.1 management station
and firewall to NG AI. While those two can communicate properly, I'm
unable to push rules from the NG AI management station to a few
remaining v4.1 inspection modules. When pushing rules through the gui,
I get the error:
"Failed to download security policy : Connection refused"**
I've checked mailing list archives, and tried every recommendation I
could find, to no avail. What I have tried:
1. `fw putkey` on mgmt and module (in that order). Push rules from
GUI. No good.
2. `fw fetch` on module. Successfully retrieves ruleset.
3. 'fw unload localhost' on module to remove any ruleset. Then 'fw
putkey' again at both ends. No good.
Logging is working successfully from all modules to the management
station. All the troublesome modules are running FW-1 v4.1 running on
Solaris 2.6. The management station is FW-1 NG AI on Solaris 8.
I'm pretty sure I've covered everything, but if anyone has any
suggestions, help would be greatly appreciated.
