All licenses are only stored on the management server if you are using central licensing. Otherwise each module will have the it's licenses locally eg management server with management and logserver license & fw module with fw1 of vpn1 license or whatever To answer Reinhards question I believe that a vrrp would need a license for each module. Where that license gets put depends on which licensing scheme you are using.
