Mike, The checkpoint snmpd is listening on udp 260, while you're querying port 16, the default snmpd port. If you want to query for non-checkpoint stuff you must have another snmpd installed and this one will have it's own set of config files. Also, the checkpoint snmpd is not a trap receiver. You can only query it for values. And when i run the cfgmaker, i get this msg´s errors: --base: Get Device Info on [email protected]: SNMP Error: Received SNMP response with error code error status: noSuchName index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0) SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "192.168.87.1" [192.168.87.1].161) community: "public" request ID:PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes timeout: 2s retries: 5 backoff: 1) at /usr/bin/../lib/mrtg2/SNMP_util.pm line 450 SNMPGET Problem for sysDescr sysContact sysName sysLocation sysObjectID on [email protected]: at /usr/bin/cfgmaker line 657 --base: Vendor Id: --base: Populating confcache --base: Get Interface Info --base: Walking ifIndex --base: Walking ifType --base: Walking ifSpeed --base: Walking ifAdminStatus --base: Walking ifOperStatus --base: Writing /etc/mrtg/checkpoint.cfg Anyone who can graphed the FW-1 bandwithd already, any suggestions?} Mike __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
