Any suggections?? Actually it is that easy (unless your rules and objects have strange things which would force you to manually fix them). There's upgrade.bat available from Check Point that converts the rulebase, users and objects to NG FP3's layout. Read solution sk18786. That applies also to FP3 even though the solution talks about FP2 and how FP3 people should do it the solution sk11635 way; thats also an option, I guess. It's more simple to install fresh W2k, install NG FP3, convert the objects, rules from 4.1 to NG FP3 and finish off with HF2 and SSL hotfix than the way you're doing it right now... -- (Mr.) Hannu Liljemark | Appelsiini Finland Oy | http://appelsiini.com ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
