tar -zxvf will negate the need to use gunzip.

I did the same...
Just run:
gunzip SU_cpshared_HF2_linux.tgz
This will get a:
SU_cpshared_HF2_linux.tar
run:
tar -xvf SU_cpshared_HF2_linux.tar
and then go to the directory just created an run the binary file...

We are running NG FP3 on SecurePlatform

I would like to install hotfix-2
SU_cpshared_HF2_linux.tgz
SU_fw1_HF2_linux.tgz

by using expert mode, but nothing seams to happen, what am i doing
wrong

[Expert@firewall]# patch add tftp <ip-number>
SU_cpshared_HF2_linux.tgz
Getting patch...

The MD5 checksum of the patch is: f677a4472d2771da31f9e53652f81ac0 Is
that
right (Y/N)? y [Expert@firewall]#
