I saw this recently. I don't recall whether the CA daemon was actually running or whether it had crashed, but I can inform you that a cpstop, cpstart returned the firewall to a fully working state. If I want to edit the firewall object in the SmartDashboard now, i get the following message: "Unable to contact Certificate Authority on the Management Station. Please make sure the Certificate Authority daemon is running." When i get this message the CA daemon is still running! How can this problem be solved? Any help would be appreciated Wolfgang ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [email protected] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [email protected] =================================================
