I used these instructions that I found on the web. Works well for me, Andrew Place ntpdate in /usr/sbin/ directory (may need to chmod ntpdate +x for executable permissions) rpm -i libcap-1.10-8.i386.rpm rpm -i vixie-cron-3.0.1-64.i386.rpm Add the following commands (for example) to the crontab to schedule time updates. (crontab -e) 0 5 * * * /usr/sbin/ntpdate (NTPSERVER IP) 0 17 * * * /usr/sbin/ntpdate (NTPSERVER IP) -----Original Message----- From: Gill, Craig [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, 29 August 2003 2:20 a.m. To: [email protected] Subject: [FW-1] Secureplatform NG FP3 Is there anyway to keep time in sync on Secureplatform other than manually setting the date and time?
