Hi. I had used an SMTP security server configured on NG FP1 and it gave me a lot of " too much mail data: error even though i had configured to allow it to send more than 9 Mb of mail data. What exactly happens is that the smtp.conf file in the management station and the firewall module, the mail size parameter resets to 1 Mb. Installing the policy or bouncing the firewall doesnt help. The secureknowledge says that this problem was fixed in NG FP2, and there are no hotfixes for this occurence in NG FP1. As i see you face the problem in NG FP2. A very silly thing which could be done is change the parameter manually in smtp.conf file to 10 MB. But make sure you do this every time after you install the policy or do a bounce.:) troublesome but it surely works. Other SMTP servers are much more flexible as well.
