A Stand alone installation as you want to have in the IP330 can be very loaded for the appliance, but instead you can use an external check point log server just for stock all the Check Point logs files. The IP330 has its own buil in hard disk drive, but this is used for all, I mean : IPSO system files, Check Point logs files, etc... In the other hand, you must be sure that the mainteinance of this installation will be done properly, periodically switching log files, an so by the way.
