Hi Werner, We are going to set up 2 Nokia using IP/IPSO Clustering (load balancing) instead of VRRP. Followed the IPSO IP Clustering guide and the cluster seems normal... by pinging the routerable IP in the internet, however, when we disconnected the external interface of master node, the connection will be dropped which does not happen if the internal interface of the master node is disconnected... This wouldn't happen to the member node too and the connection will fallover to the other node when either one of interface is disconnected Environment: IPSO 3.7 Mode for the IP clustering: Forwarding as the Switch does not support Multi-cast... CPNG FP3 Any Any Any Accept there's an error displayed in the Hyperterminal saying Packet cannot reach eth03c0 which is the Nokia Primary Interface. Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks Re: [FW-1] IPSO 3.7 - IP Clustering & CPNG FP3 Forum: SecurePoint - CheckPoint FireWall-1 Archive Date: Aug 13, 03:30 From: Brockhoven, Werner <[email protected]> Hello Nick, I'm not sure what you mean, are you talking about VRRP? I've got a pair of IP330's running with IPSO 3.7 and CP NG FP3 HFA-315. What are the issues you are having? Regards, Werner __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
