This happened to me.  Checkpoint likes to block things that use "known service ports".  Basically, if something uses a port as its source port that checkpoint has a definition for, it will drop traffic.  This can be changed under smart-defense, under network-security, under dynamic ports.

I have smart defense enabled.

I am seeing outside hosts hitting my website being blocked due
to smart defense detecting YaHoo Instant messenger.

This looks to be a Com Cast Cable Modem user that was simply
browsing my webserver.  Several of the source 1421-1430 ports were
blocked, whereas higher source ports were not.

Why would smart defense block an incoming HTTP request to my webserver as YaHoo IM,
but not block others?
