You should use Check Point's own Upgrade_export_import tools for this.

I'm about to conduct a full upgrade from NG FP2 to NG AI on my MGMT on
W2K.
Does any1 here have a full procedure for backup/restore to compare with
my notes ?
I mean, what else than copy/restore files/directories after installing
the same level of NG/FP, which commands and which registry entries must
be copied/restored ?
