It generally would look like this from the network and transport layers, client.ip.address:ephermeral_port -> server.ip.address:53 server.ip.address:53 -> client.ip.address:ephermeral_port The first packet would be the query and the second is the response. So, if the response took too long, it would have a destination of "ephemeral_port" and a source of 53 in the logs. -- Crist J.
