I have question about creating a backup firewall with NG FP3. Is there
any way to create a backup with NG without using High Availability?
With FW-4.1 you could copy over certain directories to a backup that was
not on the network and install the policy. If the production firewall
went down you could just plug in the backup. This does not seem to be
the case with NG due to the certificate updates. Does anyone know if
there is a way to do something similar to the FW-4.1situation? Can we
periodically switch from one FW to another in time for the certificate
to update? If our firewall goes down is there a way to switch to a
backup and get the new certificates for the other firewall quickly? Or
is there something else that needs to be done?
Thanks
Karen
