Rob, This was a new installation. Cleaned IPSO3.6FCS6 upgrade to IPSO3.7 and then add a fresh install of NG AI. I have checked the NICs, IP addresses (Interface and virtual), subnet masks and routing. Thanks Dave -----Original Message----- Was this an upgrade or a new install. There was a post back on 7/17/2003 with a situation with NG-AI and spoofing going beserk. In that instance it was an upgrade and for some reason when checkpoint upgraded itself, it swapped the nics in the topology table and that was screwing everything up. I would do a get on the topology table first to make sure that your nics are in the right spot with the right ip addresses before you look further into this. Rob ** Below is the past of the email about the spoofing issue from 7/17 ** Resolved... My system now has the spoofing working OK, and it's not complaining about excessive hosts. I did the interface "find" click. It actually flipped the 2 NIC entries over (kept the same name, same IP and all) but just reordered them on the FW gateway's NIC list.... All is well. Evidently, it's picky about how it finds the NIC cards on the PCI buss, even though the Names & IP's match, it has to something else particular to Checkpoint's interpretation. Thanks for the tips & help, guys.
