As firewall software CP 4.1 was installed. With 4.1 you could use multi processors without any additional license. Because of beeing interested in latest CP releases, software subscription for 2 years was also licensed (and you al know we are talking about a couple of 1k bugs). With releasing CP NG multi CPU environments where not supported anymore without addtional license for multi CPU support. So the only chance you have is [ ] buy new hardware with only one CPU [ ] remove one CPU from your old hardware [ ] buy the addtional license (hey it is only another 2k $$) [ ] don' t install NG (and I guess that decission would be the worst scenario) [ ] use NG on your old hardware without buying any addit If the last option isn*t an option you will be punished for licensing software subscription.
