Steffen, I had tested IP clustering on two IP 380, IPSO 3.7 and NG FP3. I had used one interface as FW-1 sync , and clutser was define on internal and external interface and worked perfectly fine... On the clutser network only , you can use the production network. you can test this out !! I hope this helps..
