I've did a fresh install. I've checked and the Policy Server is installed and activated. I've installed the software on a non-default directory. Can this be a problem? Is there a procedure to install the software on a non-default directory? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: ta-feira, 18 de Julho de 2003 22:57 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [FW-1] NG AI - Security Desktop How did you do the install? Was this an upgrade, or fresh? If fresh, did you install "SmartCenter Server" only, or VPN-1/FW-1 as well. I noticed that when I selected both for an install, the SecureClient Policy server was deselected. -Aaron -----Original Message----- From: Rodrigo Borges [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, July 18, 2003 6:59 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW-1] NG AI - Security Desktop Hello everybody, I've installed NG AI yesterday and it went fine, untill I've installed the Package. When installing the Security Desktop policy, it fails reporting the following error: "Failed to read rules from file C:\...\Package_name.S! Desktop policies will not be installed on policy server" The Desktop Security policy is Any Any Allow. The file exists and it looks OK. The Enforcement Module is a Nokia 530 with IPSO 3.7 and the Management is a W2KServer. I've got all the necessary licenses. The configuration objects and rules were manually recreated from the previous installation (FP2). Any ideas?
