[FW-1] Solaris 64 bit & Checkpoint FP2 (ClusterXL cluster pair) scenario/issue

Hi ...

Anyone know any issues with the following hypothetical scenario

Platform: Solaris 64 bit & Checkpoint FP2 (ClusterXL cluster pair)

Question: What would be the likelihood (ClusterXL decision) of both
firewalls going down/offline as a result of seeing clustered interfaces
facing/sharing a single hub/switch as failed.

Scenarios:
1) A clustered interface hangs-off/shares a single hub/switch, should this
hub/switch fail

2) The crossover cable or hub/switch for the "sync network" between
firewalls in a ClusterXL pair fail

Regards

Andrew
